How Urdu image to text works
The tool reads the writing inside your image and turns it into normal Urdu text you can select, edit, search and copy. The technology is often called Urdu OCR, but you do not need to know that term to use it.
Which font gives the best result?
Use a clear screenshot or scan with readable printed Urdu, strong contrast and enough resolution. Our current benchmark is strongest on Naskh-style printed text. Nastaliq can also be read, but its joined and sloping layout is more complex and may require more manual correction, especially in poetry, newspapers and heavily styled designs.
How to get a cleaner result
Crop the image around the Urdu text, keep the page straight, and avoid distant photos, blurred text, decorative backgrounds and heavy image compression. Clear dark text on a simple background is usually easier to read.
Why you should review the text
Image-to-text recognition can confuse similar letter shapes, dots, punctuation, numbers and mixed Urdu/English content. Treat the converted text as a fast editable starting point rather than a guarantee that every character is correct.
